On May 16, 2008, the University of Richmond and the Mid-Atlantic Juvenile Defender Center, together with the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission, the Virginia Juvenile Justice Association (VJJA) , the National Family Law Center, and the Virginia Coalition for Juvenile Justice, will present the 13th Annual Juvenile Law and Education Conference, “Representing the Whole Child.” Speakers include Vincent Schiraldi, D.C. Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services, Dr. Aradhana Bela Sood, Division of Child Psychiatry, Virginia Treatment Center for Children, and Robert E. Shepherd, Jr., University of Richmond School of Law. 5.0 CLE credits (1.0 Ethics) are expected to be awarded for the program. Registration is currently underway.
