Quattlebaum is VADJJ Probation Officer of the Year
Northern District VJJA member Paige Quattlebaum has been named the Department of Juvenile Justice’s Probation Officer of the Year. Quattlebaum has been employed by the Prince William Court Service Unit since 1978 and has served in a variety of positions at the unit including probation parole and intake. Since assuming the position of Senior Probation Officer in May 2006 Ms. Quattlebaum has taken on additional responsibilities including managing and reorganizing the Woodbridge Branch Office Drug Testing Program and serving as a representative to the Juvenile Justice Action team (JJAT). She has also managed the agency’s Learning for Life Explorer Program at a local Boy Scout camp that operates for four Saturdays throughout the year. Because of her many years working with adolescent and adult sex offenders, Paige is frequently sought out by local Commonwealth Attorneys to discuss dispositional options for cases. She has trained many new staff and is a mentor to all at her work place.
