31st Spring Conference

Dear VJJA Member -
We are excited to be able to meet and celebrate 31 years of the Spring Conference! There are a few things to know and do regarding the hotel and conference:
HOTEL INFORMATION:
MASKS ARE NOT REQUIRED, however, wearing or not wearing a mask is a personal choice so choose what is comfortable for you.
CONFERENCE INFORMATION:
There will be a table in the back of the ballroom reserved for conference staff. PLEASE do not sit at this table. Conference staff are in and out of the room and we want to minimize the disruption to any speaker.
Bring cash and/or credit/debit card for VJJA logo wear and 50/50 Raffle for the Holiday Food Gift Cards.
Be sure to VISIT and THANK our vendors throughout the event because we could not do this without them!
We are excited to be able to meet and celebrate 31 years of the Spring Conference! There are a few things to know and do regarding the hotel and conference:
HOTEL INFORMATION:
- The Conference Center is to the right of the main hotel entrance or center entrance of the “circle” drive as you are facing the ocean.
- Parking is available in the garage across the street or there is on-street parking. If staying at the hotel, when checking in you can park in the “circle” or in the garage across the street. There is limited space in the “circle” so please be aware.
- There are 2 towers to the hotel so make sure you clarify with the front desk which side you are on. Due to the number and style of rooms, everyone is unable to be accommodated on the conference side.
- An indoor lazy river and hot tub will be open during your stay.
- Hotel restaurants are the Square Whale (sandwiches, pizza, etc) and Isle of Capri (Italian inspired and only open for dinner; reservations recommended). There are several restaurants within walking distance.

CONFERENCE INFORMATION:
- Registration is from 8 - 9am on Thursday and 8:30 - 9am on Friday in the hallway leading into the conference space.
- Breakfast is not be provided, but the Greenery (hotel restaurant) is open from 6:30 - 10:30am. Feel free to bring your own items as needed. Hotel rooms have a mini-fridge and microwave. The hotel has a small store, vending machines, and there is a 7-11 across the street..
- Please be mindful that each person’s “perfect” temperature is different. We will do our best to have the rooms set at a comfortable level, but dress accordingly and bring a jacket/sweater/short sleeve/long sleeve/etc. Remember, we live in Virginia, it can go from winter to summer and back to winter all in the same day.
- There is a reception/networking social on Thursday evening in the Vista room on the 6th floor from 5:00 - 8:00pm. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided. No alcoholic beverages are to be in the main hotel areas.
